Local Artists Featured in Annual Art Show and Sale

The Braithwaite Fine Arts Gallery has partnered with the Cedar City Art Committee and Cedar City Artisans to present the Southern Utah Art invitational, an art show and sale. 

This exhibit continues the tradition of the annual Cedar City Art Committee exhibit as an invited artist, juried event, featuring work from talented artists across the region. 

This year's exhibit will display over 250 pieces from many mediums of art including painting, photography, wood-carving and ceramics. Some of this year's artists include Karen Gale, Susan Harris, Brad Holt, Jennifer Rasmusson, Kate Starling and Melissa Sullivan, among others. 

This invitational Art Show and Sale begins June 19 and runs through September 5, 2009, to run concurrently with the summer season of the Utah Shakespearean Festival. 

The Braithwaite Fine Arts Gallery, just a short walk from the Utah Shakespearean Festival theatres, will be open Monday through Saturday, 11 a.m.-7 p.m. for the showing of this exhibit. Admission is free.
