Southern Utah University and Cedar City Corporation invite all campus and community residents to join them in honoring one of Cedar City’s finest advocates: President Emeritus of SUU and former Mayor of Cedar City Gerald R. Sherratt.
Sherratt has spent more than three decades in service to this region, transforming Southern Utah State College into a fully-accredited university and building the “Festival City” into one of the state’s finest, close-knit communities. Wherever he has gone, Jerry Sherratt has been an arbiter of progress.
For always standing behind SUU and Cedar City, for giving everything back to his hometown, for enriching lives and enhancing our community, for a legacy of beautiful buildings and monuments, for the festivals and the arts, for instilling a communal pride in us all and for leading by example, Southern Utah University will forever be grateful to Gerald R. Sherratt.
Please join us in thanking him for a lifetime of service.
