Campus Closes Early to Ensure Safe Travel

Given the dire weather forecasts predicting massive storms throughout Utah, campus is closed immediately so that students traveling from Cedar City might get a jump on getting to their destinations safely.

For faculty and staff, we apologize for any inconvenience this may cause but want to take into consideration the multiple calls we have fielded from concerned parents and families. Utah State, we have learned, has closed as well.

Campus will remain closed through the weekend with the hope that students, faculty and staff will return safely to campus on Monday, November 29. Best wishes to everyone for a most enjoyable, and safe, Thanksgiving holiday.

Please Note:

The Thunderbird Gymnastics Red & Black Scrimmage slated for this evening has been moved up to 1 p.m. in the Harris Center.

The Women's Basketball game against Pacific at 7 p.m. tonight will be held as planned in the Centrum Arena.
