Southern Utah University wants to hear from you.

Always striving to improve the SUU experience, University administrators are conducting two online survey through February 22, open to all students and faculty.

With the goal of gleaning feedback on all-things-SUU, this survey will measure the satisfaction of Thunderbirds in a variety of areas. Additionally, it will provide a forum for suggestions by soliciting opinions on issues that may require improvement or revision.

Students will be given the “Student Satisfaction Inventory,” a national survey used by many colleges and universities to pinpoint what works and what can be improved within SUU academics and student life.

All SUU students should have already received an email from "Southern Utah University" with a direct link to the online survey. The subject line reads, “SUU Student Survey.” Both undergraduate and graduate students are encouraged to respond as soon as possible. The average time spent to complete the student survey is relatively short at just under 10 minutes.

SUU’s faculty members should have also received an email from Assistant Provost and Director of Institutional Research and Assessment Christian Reiner with the subject line, “SUU Faculty Survey”. The link within this email will access the “HERI Faculty Survey,” a national survey conducted by the Higher Education Research Institute.

The purpose of the HERI survey is to gather feedback on faculty satisfaction, goals and activities. This survey will run through February 25.

Because every opinion matters, we ask that participants not rush through the survey, rather, take your time to provide thoughtful and honest feedback.

Explains Reiner, “Honest and thoughtful feedback can help shape the future of SUU in positive ways for those who have chosen to make this institution their home for a significant part of their lives.”

If you – student or faculty member – have already completed the survey sent your way, thank you. If not, please check you inbox for the SUU survey email; to help, a reminder email will soon be sent with the survey link once again.

Your feedback is vital in shaping Southern Utah University’s future.
