The presidential search committee to replace outgoing Southern Utah University president, Michael T. Benson, will hold a series of public meetings on Thursday, May 23, on the SUU campus in Cedar City.

The meetings will provide an opportunity for Southern Utah University faculty, staff and students, as well as the wider community, to provide input to the committee as they launch the search for a new University president. This input will aid the committee in preparing a position description and in determining the key attributes and experience to consider as they screen candidates. The names of the people who have been invited to sit on the search committee will be announced in the days prior to the public meetings.

Public feedback sessions for Thursday, May 23, include:

  • 12:15-1:15 p.m.     Faculty & Staff Constituent Group
  • 1:30-2:30 p.m.       Student Constituent Group
  • 2:45-3:45 p.m.       Alumni & Community Constituent Group

All meetings will take place in the Sterling R. Church Auditorium.
