Preschool to Yard Sale Pre-K Supplies

The SUU Preschool is opening its doors and clearing its shelves of unneeded educational items for a yard sale this Wednesday, May 22, on the east side of North Elementary, 550 W 200 N., from 12:30 to 3 p.m.

The yard sale is open to the community, where a variety of new and gently used games, books, toys, play kitchen sets and art supplies will be for sale at an extremely discounted price. All proceeds will go toward new supplies, classroom equipment and field trips for the upcoming school year.

In Fall 2012, SUU Preschool moved to North Elementary as part of the University’s new educational partnerships creating the North Elementary STEAM School. Through STEAM, North Elementary began providing a unique educational experience with an emphasis on integrated instruction to engage students in science, technology, engineering, the arts and mathematics.

The preschool is also used as an in-service lab for the University's early education students, who work under the direction of full-time certified educators.
