The Utah Department of Transportation (UDOT) will begin work at the corner of 300 West and 200 South on Monday, July 8, which may impact traffic flow on the north end of campus. The project is intended to reconstruct the pavement, improve drainage and provide enhanced mobility and safety.

Crews will begin by lowering 124 manholes and water valves, beginning at 300 West and 200 South; this initial work will be completed on July 15. Work will be performed from 6 a.m. to 10 p.m., with crews observing a quiet zone around the Shakespeare Festival venues after 7 p.m. nightly.

Work will start at Center Street and Main Street and traveling West to 1100 West; turning South and proceeding to 200 South; turning East to 200 West and completing the loop by turning North at 200 West and traveling to Center Street. It is anticipated the entire project will be completed near the end of September 2013.

One lane of traffic will be maintained in each direction for the duration of the project.  Barricades, cones and flaggers will be used for traffic control.
