Southern Utah University Women's Volleyball will host a free mother-daughter clinic on Saturday, August 17, beginning at 10:30 a.m. in the JL Sorenson Physical Education Building on the north end of campus.

The event, open to girls, ages 14 and younger, and their mothers, aunts or grandmothers, ages 18 and older, will feature direction and tips from current student-athletes and coaches and will include instruction on current NCAA volleyball rules.

"It should be fun for moms and daughters to be able to play together," said Head Coach Deborah Baker, who has seen a marked increase in demand for recreational volleyball and instruction across the Cedar City community in recent years.

Pre-registration is not necessary; participants need only show up on time to the Saturday clinic, which has been designed to accommodate up to 60 participants.
