SUU Hosts Inaugural Undergraduate Philosophy Conference

Southern Utah University's inaugural undergraduate philosophy conference will be held on Saturday, February 7. Educators from various institutions in the state will be presenting research and discussing emerging issues in the field of philosophy.
Community members and all SUU students are invited to attend. Breakfast and lunch will be provided by campus's Philosophy Club.
Dr. Kari Thuerer from the Trinity College Department of Philosophy will be the keynote speaker. Her address, “The Mechanisms of Psychiatric Disorder: Hope for a Unified Science of Mind and Brain?” will followed by a question and answer period.
Guests are invited to attend a reception at Dr. Phillip’s residence (424 W. Harding Ave., Cedar City, UT) later in the evening, beginning at 7:30 p.m.
