Cline M. & Jane O. Dahle Greenhouse Annual Plant Sale

The Cline M. & Jane O. Dahle Greenhouse at Southern Utah University is hosting a plant sale until the end of May or while supplies last. The sale will feature a variety of plants including organic vegetables, herb starts, annual and perennial native flowers, groundcovers, houseplants and container gardens. Prices range from 50 cents to $25 depending on the size and type of the plant.
The vegetable and herb starts available include different varieties of tomatoes and peppers, eggplants, cucumbers, pumpkins, lettuce, onions, Swiss chard, spinach, arugula, parsley, cilantro, celery, dill, rosemary, sugar snap peas, beans and cauliflower.
Annuals available for purchase are Mexican hat, Gaillardia, also known as blanket flowers, Zinnias and Alyssum. Perennials for sale include a variety of succulents, scented Geranium, spider plant, snake plant, ferns, Peperomias, Aloe plant, jade plant and Philodendrons among others.
Indoor trees for purchase include different species of fig trees, bananas and Scheffleras.
All plants for sale were grown at the greenhouse with the help of SUU students and volunteers from the Cedar City Department of Workforce Services. The greenhouse is located on the third floor of the L.S. & Aline W. Skaggs Center for Health & Molecular Sciences and is open Monday to Friday from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. and 1 p.m. to 2:30 p.m.
