Frank PucherThunderbird Deputy Athletic Director Frank Pucher has accepted a position at Fresno State as their Senior Associate Athletic Director for External Relations. At Fresno State, Pucher will oversee all athletics marketing, media services, ticket operations, and merchandising, while also serving as the liaison between Fresno State and their multi-media rights holder, Bulldog Sports Properties.

“Frank has been a valuable asset to SUU Athletics. Under his leadership, fundraising efforts, including the annual fund and corporate sponsorships have significantly increased, along with attendance across all ticketed sports,” SUU Athletic Director Debbie Corum said. “Frank had a huge impact on securing the naming rights for the America First Event Center and the naming of the court, in addition to so many other changes that are far too many to mention in this space. He is currently working on things that will provide positive results long after he is gone. We wish him the best and now, it will be important for us to work hard to fill the very large hole that will be left in his absence.”

Corresponding additions and/or changes to the Thunderbird Athletic Department will be announced at a later date.
