SUU Earns Recognition for Best Online Masters In Sports Conditioning

Southern Utah University continues to appear in university rankings, recently ranking twelfth in the U.S. for Best Online Master’s in Sports Medicine according to Online Masters. In the same listing, SUU also received an additional award for “Best in Hands-On Training”.
SUU’s Master of Science in Sports Conditioning & Performance (MSSCP) has continually received recognition in national rankings. In 2018 the program was ranked sixth by College Affordability Guide for top online schools, and eighth in affordability according to College Choice.
“The MSSCP faculty and staff are greatly honored by the Online Masters Organization’s national ranking as well as the “Best in Hands-on Training” award,” said MSSCP Director Mark DeBeliso.
Online Masters is a fully funded research program that works to help guide graduate students to the perfect school for their degree. They have analyzed over six thousand programs based upon academic quality, student success, and affordability.
“We are diligently committed to providing a unique and personalized student-centered learning experience,” DeBeliso said. “The MSSCP curriculum integrates research-based knowledge with practical applications to achieve student-centered learning.”
Alumni from the MSSCP program have gone on to work in many different positions including coaching at Utah State University and the University of Houston, as well as teaching at Gavilan College in Gilroy, California.
SUU’s Master of Science in Sports Conditioning & Performance (M.S.S.C.P.) enables professionals to design safe and effective exercise and conditioning programs. Each student is required to complete an intensive clinical workshop for their degree. Past SUU graduates have gone on to work with companies such as InnerCity Weightlifting, OPEX Fitness, and Family Spinal Care, LLC.
