Visit go.suu.edu/coronavirus for all campus health updates.
On March 24 a campus wide email was sent to all faculty, staff and students updating the campus community on bookstore operations and resources available to campus.
Subject line: Important message from the SUU Bookstore
Dear students,
In light of the ongoing disruption to on-campus learning, we’ve partnered with our digital course materials platform, VitalSource, and leading publishers to launch VitalSource Helps, a program offering free access to ebooks for students who may have lost access to course materials with the rapid move to distance learning.
If you previously accessed textbooks via the library, shared a book with a classmate, or left your books on campus, visit bookshelf.vitalsource.com to access free ebooks through May 25. VitalSource Helps provides access to an expansive catalog of ebooks, but some content may not be available.
Getting Started
To access free materials, you must use your suu.edu or suumail.net email address to log in or create an account. Do not use a Gmail or other personal address as only suu.edu or suumail.net addresses will be whitelisted for the free access offer. Before you get started, we encourage you to review this student FAQ.
We hope this will be of assistance to you as you continue your studies online.
RETURNING RENTED BOOKS
If you rented books from the SUU Bookstore for this semester, those titles are still due to be returned by Friday, April 24. Rentals may be returned to the store anytime before then (in person, by mail, by scheduled drop off at our loading dock). Our shipping information is available on our website. Please be sure to include your name and contact information with any shipments.
We are still looking at options for ensuring the return process is as easy as possible under the circumstances. Those who have rentals will receive further instructions as the due date nears.
Buyback services are still scheduled for the end of the semester.
We are currently open 10am - 4pm, Monday - Friday, for shopping or online order pickup. If you have placed an order and would like to pick up at our loading dock outside, please call us at 435.586.7995 to make arrangements.
Sincerely,
Tracy
