CAPS Moves to Remote Counseling/Consultation

Published: March 16, 2020 | Read Time: 1 minutes

Counseling and Psychological Services (CAPS) at Southern Utah University is not going away or closing. We are, however, modifying how our services will be delivered. Our current plan is to move to telecounseling/consultation as quickly as possible. If you are currently a client at CAPS you will be contacted by your individual counselor to discuss the transition.

If you are in immediate need of counseling support, please call CAPS at 435.865.8621 or call SUU Police 435.586.1911. Of, if it is an emergency, please go to the nearest hospital for assistance. SUU staff, faculty and students can access CAPS through the above procedures. We will consult around mental health concerns to the bests of ability. This is an unprecedented time and we understand that this is both inconvenient and stressful, please continue to be patient with us. Take your health and wellness seriously as well as the health of others.

Sincerely,
CAPS Team
