Retro Line at Bookstore Celebrates 125 Years of SUU

In honor of Southern Utah University’s 125th anniversary, the SUU Bookstore is debuting Thor's Vault, a limited edition collection of updated classics, inspired by retired university marks.
Thor's Vault is a campus collaboration between the SUU Bookstore, Athletics, Alumni, and Marketing Communication carefully created to become new old favorites. The collection was built to celebrate the time-honored legacy of SUU. The memories of faculty, staff, and alumni, along with SUU’s history of connection, adventure, and soaring, are relived through retro merchandise. Products are available in-person and online through the SUU Bookstore.
The retro line includes marks and colors from:
- Branch Normal School, 1897-1913
- Branch Agricultural College, 1913-1953
- College of Southern Utah,1953-1969
- Southern Utah State College, 1969-1990
Attendees to the upcoming retro games will also have a chance to celebrate the past with throwback colors. When the women’s and men’s basketball teams take the court on February 8 and 9, look for the teal jerseys as they represent the College of Southern Utah.
