Cedar City, UT – Southern Utah University (SUU) invites all students, faculty, staff, alumni and community members to wear red and join in the SUU Day of Service, set for Saturday, March 29, 2025, from 10 AM-12:30 PM  beginning in the Sharwan Smith Center Ballroom. This event, held in conjunction with Founders Week, will see T-Birds unite to serve Cedar City and Iron County.

SUU Day of Service Flier

SUU’s Day of Service is a unique opportunity for the University to give back to the community who has given so much to the institution since its founding.  Red-shirted volunteers will unite to beautify parks and public areas, paint over graffiti, landscape, weed, and more. An indoor option will also be available in the Sharwan Smith Ballroom.

Whether by cleaning up parks, assisting local non-profit organizations, or simply lending a generous hand, this event will be an opportunity for students, faculty, staff, alumni, and community members to celebrate SUU’s heritage by participating in service projects that will directly benefit Cedar City and Iron County. Any and all efforts will aim to strengthen the founding spirit that began with service.
