Aviation Administration and Leadership Bachelor's Degree
Develop the skills needed to advance as an aviation leader with Southern Utah University's Bachelor of Aviation Administration and Leadership. Throughout the program, you will develop proficiency in aviation administration practices, Aeronautical-Decision-Making principles, aviation safety, and more.
This program can be done 100% online or on-campus and it will help you become the leader you know you can be. You will gain a strong foundation in the principles of aviation that include Total Quality Management (TQM), High-Reliability Organization (HRO), Systems Thinking, and more.
Admissions
As a graduate of this program, you will:
- Demonstrate an understanding of administrative practices relevant to the aviation industry and the ability to apply those principles in leadership contexts.
- Demonstrate basic management skills and the ability to apply those within the aviation industry.
- Grasp a conceptual and applied understanding of Total Quality Management (TQM), High-Reliability Organization (HRO), and Systems Thinking.
- Demonstrate an understanding of Aeronautical-Decision-Making principles and practices.
- Understand and apply principles of aviation safety within contexts associated with administration and leadership.
- Be able to intelligibly and accurately discuss aviation industry particulars with industry participants, faculty and staff, and fellow students.

Courses
For the Bachelor of Aviation Administration and Leadership, you must complete a minimum of 120 credits hours. 30-35 credits are general education requirements, 12 credits are Bachelor of Science requirements, 16 credits are required aviation core, 12 are aviation elective credit, 22 are business management minor credit, and 19-46 credits are free electives.
