Storyteller Donald Davis and Timpanogos Storytelling's Executive Director Eliot Wilcox they explained why storytelling is so important and how to help student develop, tell, and write their own personal stories. Donald shared an easy-to-use framework for creating stories that he developed after working with thousands of students.

The Mexican village of Mata-Ortiz, 100 miles from the US-Mexico border, is known for rich archaeological sites containing a distinctive style of pre-Columbian pottery. A few generations ago local artisans began making pots inspired by this ancient pottery. In this hands-on workshop participants investigated the history, methodology and tools behind the unique pottery style of the Mata Ortiz potters.
