T-Bird Inspired Food & Drinks in Cedar City

A few Cedar City restaurants are taking advantage of Southern Utah University’s close proximity and showing their school pride with special menu items dedicated to T-Birds. Next time you are looking for a sweet treat or a delicious lunch, go to try these local favorites!
Bulloch Drug
Bulloch Drug is a local pharmacy that is attached to an array of boutiques and also an ice cream/soda shop. Not only can customers fill a prescription, they can also find knick-knacks, greeting cards, and grab a sweet treat. This is one of the coolest local places to check out.

Type: Drug Store & Soda Fountain
Drink: The T-Bird (¾ Red cream soda, ¼ vanilla and coconut syrup)
Slurps Up
Slurps Up is a local soda hut that offers frozen coffee, shaved ice, flavored sodas, and more. They have options for customers to choose from, however, anyone is welcome to make their own creation. They also have some food items, including sugar cookies!

Drink: T-Bird (Dr Pepper, raspberry puree, coconut, and cream)
Brick House Cafe
Brick House is a local sit-down restaurant located on Cedar City’s Main Street. The cafe offers an array of burgers, sandwiches, and other items. This eatery is a popular destination for great food.

Type: Sit Down Restaurant
Food: The Thunderbird (grilled chicken and bacon with bell pepper, mushrooms, onions, and three cheeses, lettuce, tomato, honey mustard, and mayo on a toasted french roll)
Charlie’s Southern Barbecue
Charlie’s is famous for its frycho, but The Thunderbird is worth a try. This restaurant is great for lunch or dinner or to hang out with friends or family. The atmosphere makes it a nice place to take a break and enjoy yummy barbecue food.

Type: Sit Down Restaurant
Food: The Thunderbird (Half pork half brisket sandwich)
Ninja
Ninja is the only location in Cedar City with a hibachi option. However, they also have regular dining. Ninja has great seafood, along with other options just in case seafood isn’t your thing. This roll is one of many that are offered.

Type: Sit Down Restaurant
Food: Thunderbird Roll (sushi shrimp tempura, cream cheese, cucumber, white tuna, and jalapeno)
