As podcasts are becoming an increasingly popular social platform to share information and/or opinions, listening to them to stay updated is important. There are podcasts about almost everything from murder mysteries to video games, and for what we will be discussing here, helpful college tips. Many college podcasts are based on giving life advice for starting adulthood, which can be very helpful. Podcasts including Adulthood Made Easy, Dave Ramsey Show, Collegehood Advice, and TED Talks Audio all focus on topics that are helpful for college students. Take note of what you could benefit from learning and listening to each podcast.
Adulthood Made Easy
The podcast “Adulthood Made Easy” is found on Spotify, Apple podcasts, and Audible. This podcast explains itself as “ If you feel lost in a new city, overwhelmed by your taxes, frustrated by dating, or scared to switch jobs, tune in weekly to Adulthood Made Easy, where twenty-something host Sam Zabell works through listeners’ problems and questions about the sometimes-scary “real world.” Along the way, she addresses many of her own struggles with adulthood, resulting in a show any college graduate (and beyond) can relate to.”
This podcast will allow you to hear about similar issues you go through every day and learn how to master adulthood through the eyes of others. As you take time to listen to this podcast and the struggles others face, you will feel less alone in your struggles.
Dave Ramsey Show
The Dave Ramsey Show is a podcast that has callers call into the host and ask financial advice questions. The show describes itself as showing how to “Take control of your life and money once and for all. The Ramsey Show offers up straight talk from Dave Ramsey and his team of co-hosts. Millions listen in as callers from all walks of life learn how to get out of debt and start building for the future.”
Whether you are just starting out your path of adulthood or have been venturing down it for some time receiving financial advice will never hurt.
Collegehood Advice
Collegehood Advice is a podcast specifically for college students and those looking for advice on how to do well in school. This podcast describes itself as a way to “Develop the skills, habits, and mindset you need to thrive during college and beyond. Each week, college success coach Katy Oliveira and her guests share strategies, insights, and tools to help you improve grades, get organized, figure out your major and career, and maximize your investment in college.”
If you are looking for a podcast to help you hone your skills in the world of academia this podcast is the one for you.
TED Talks Daily
