Bread & Soup Nite, the monthly food-raiser for the campus HOPE Pantry. All-you-can-eat bread, soups, and desserts, plus live entertainment. Event volunteers and performers needed, bsn@suu.edu

Paiute Center Tutoring, tutor and read with elementary and middle school kids, plus other social activities, M, T, W, R from 4-5 pm. Carpool leaves from Community Engagement Center 10 minutes prior to start time, tutoring@suu.edu

SUU Storytime, weekly story time provided for local kids at the public library, Mondays, 4:30 pm, Cedar City Public Library (carpool available), suustorytime@suu.edu

ThunderServe, various service opportunities every week, Thursdays at 4:30 pm, thunderserve@suu.edu

We Be Groovin', after school dance program with elementary aged kids, Wednesdays, 3:30-4:30 pm, East Elementary (carpool available), weebegroovin@suu.edu

9/11 Day of Service and Remembrance, week of September 11th

Make a Difference Day, fourth Saturday in October, a national day of service with a variety of local activities

Sub for Santa (October-December), help every child in Iron County have a merry Christmas! Angel Tree preparation, toy raising activities, and gift distribution volunteers needed, subforsanta@suu.edu

MLK Day of Service, January, celebrate Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.’s birthday with a “day on, not a day off”

Read Across America/Dr. Seuss Birthday Party, March, individuals and groups needed to help plan and staff a variety of activity stations for children and families

Annual Thank You Reception and Awards, April, let us say “Thanks!” for your dedicated volunteer help!
