FIRST Utah Sponsor Information
We are grateful to our sponsors. Their donations and sponsorships provide resources and events for FIRST Lego League students in Southern Utah and FTC students throughout Utah.
What is FTC?
First Tech Challenge (FTC) students (grades 7-12) learn to think like engineers. Teams design, build, and program robots to compete in an alliance format against other teams. Robots are built from a reusable platform, powered by android technology, and can be coded using a variety of levels of Java-based programming. Teams also demonstrate their engineering notebook and work-life skills in judged sessions.
Competitions are held on the local, state and international level.
FTC Utah
FTC Utah is our local region for the international FTC program. The season consists of 4 qualifiers throughout the state and a championship hosted by Southern Utah University. In addition to the competitions, teams build work-life skills by collaborating with each other and serving the community. This combination of technology and human-interaction prepares participants for the careers they strive to attain.
FTC Utah Sponsorship
Team and competition support are the focus at FTC Utah. All funding goes directly to qualifiers, the State Championship, and teams throughout Utah.
