A born and raised Cedar City native, Calli serves as the Business Operations Manager for the Center for Hope, where she strives to provide the best support possible for student-parents and keep the behind-the-scenes operations of the Center running smoothly. She is a proud alumni of Southern Utah University who graduated with a BA in English. Staying true to the stereotypes of her major, she is an avid reader, loves writing, and collects a concerning amount of cardigans. Other favorites include listening to music, attending plays and musicals, spending time with friends and family, and befriending every dog she meets.

As the Coordinator for the CCAMPIS (Child Care Access Means Parents in School) grant program, Adriana Carranza ensures that student-parents have the support they need to conquer their educational goals. She works closely with grant applicants, providing comprehensive support and ensuring all grant requirements are met.

Adriana is a passionate advocate for expanding access to child care resources, fostering partnerships with community organizations and child care providers. Through her outreach efforts, she raises awareness about the CCAMPIS program, connecting eligible students with invaluable services.

Armed with a bachelor's degree in Family Life and Human Development from SUU, Adriana brings personal experience and dedication to her role. And when she's not busy empowering student-parents, you might catch her dreaming of a world where laundry folds itself. Because let's be honest, who wouldn't want that kind of superpower?

Hi! I’m Heather Hudson. I love the color gray, and Diet Coke fuels my life and keeps me going. I am also a huge Disney fan and I can often be seen enjoying all things Disney. I’ve recently found a love for running and I’m always preparing myself for my next race. I also love cooking, gardening, camping and playing games with my family. I have been married for 14 wonderful years, and I have been blessed with three incredible children. Our family motto is “Adventure is out there” and we’re always searching for our next adventure. I started teaching preschool when I was still in High School and I fell in love with kids! I continued teaching while I was attending Utah State University, where I earned my degree in Human Studies. I’ve been teaching for 12 years in total, and I absolutely love it! In our classroom you can find me reading books and telling felt board stories, singing silly songs, running on imaginary treadmills, doing yoga, and engaging the kids in really fun food experiences.

Hello! My name is Carla Condie, I love to travel and go on adventures, trying new foods, and doing new things with my husband and two daughters ages 2 and 5. I graduated from SUU with a Bachelors degree in Elementary Education with an Endorsement in ESL, and an Emphasis in Art and another Emphasis in integrated studies. I want every child to be met at their level and I love to use creative learning strategies to scaffold them from where they are to where they can be. I love to do everything outdoors. My hobbies are, Archery, hiking, painting, watching supercross and hanging out with my family. You can find me, doing crazy and messy art projects, snuggling and reading books, and building amazing cities with our blocks. You can also find me running around, playing games and singing with my students outside.

Hi! My name is Tallie chamberlain. I love penguins, going on walks, dancing, reading, quilting, spending time with family and friends, and collecting fun socks to wear. I grew up in Blanding Utah and love small towns. I attended Snow College then transferred to Southern Utah University where I graduated with a Bachelor's degree in Family life and Human development with a double emphasis in both Family Services and Early Childhood Development. I love spending time with kids and playing with them. I especially love cuddling with infants and watching them grow so fast! You can find me in the classroom playing on the floor and talking or singing to the kids.

Hi, I'm Taylor Larsen! I love playing games, singing, dancing, watching TV, listening to music, and baking. My dad was in the military so I moved around a lot, but consider Southern California to be home. So, how did I end up at SUU? Well, I'm a 3rd generation alumni! Most of my family has gone to SUU.I met my husband at SUU and have been married for 5 years. We have an amazing daughter. We loved Cedar City so we decided to stay. I have always loved kids and knew from a young age I wanted to work with kids. I started babysitting when I was 11! I love being able to watch kids grow. I graduated from Southern Utah University in 2021 with a bachelor's degree in Family Life and Human Development with an emphasis in Early Childhood Development. I have been working at the Center for Hope since August 2022. In my classroom you can find me singing and dancing for the kids and just making a fool of myself.

Hi! My name is Mindee Stevens. My life goal is to one day own a pig farm and have lots of baby pigs to snuggle. My body is made up of Coke and coconut cream and a little bit of water. I love going on Disney trips and other adventures and usually have one in the works. I graduated from Southern Utah University with a bachelor's degree in Family Life and Human Development. I love working with littles and seeing the light go on as they develop new abilities and skills. Nothing beats watching a baby learn to walk or talk. Any given day, you can find me jamming to sleeping bunnies and baby sharks or enjoying whatever pretend food is being made in our class kitchen.

Hi! My name is Jackie Petersen. I love being outside and spending time with family. Along with my husband, we have two boys. The four of us love to spend our time camping, fishing, hiking, and working in the garden. I also love going on walks and breathing in the fresh air. I graduated from Utah State University with my Bachelor’s degree in Family Consumer and Human Development with an emphasis in Early Childhood. I have always worked in a daycare or preschool setting and really enjoy spending my time with kids. You can find me in the classroom singing songs, reading books, or taking cover from cute little dinosaurs.
