Study With Professional Dancers

Our program features dedicated spaces like the Black Box Studio and the Ballroom Dance Company, equipped with industry-level tools. Students benefit from our collaboration with the Tony Award-winning Utah Shakespeare Festival, providing access to state-of-the-art equipment and production spaces.

Engaged Learning Community

Join the SUU Dance Organization and participate in multiple productions and projects. Students also collaborate with the Master of Athletic Training program for wellness clinics, evaluations, and injury prevention seminars.

National Recognition

The SUU Dance program is accredited by the National Association of Schools of Dance (NASD). Our faculty and students have received multiple grants from the National Endowment for the Arts and have been recognized for outstanding contributions in education.

Teaching License Option

To qualify for a teaching license, students must take professional education courses through SUU's Department of Teacher Education. Please see the degree requirements for Secondary Education Licensure.
