What is SUU Nearpeer?
Ready to meet your future SUU classmates?
Nearpeer is an app that is an exclusive community for you and other new SUU students to meet each other, connect, find friends, share similar interests and life experiences, and start talking about the fall.
You’ll also be able to find other people from your hometown, or join select groups by simply clicking “My Groups” within the app.
How does it work?
- Download the free Nearpeer app in the App Store or Google Play.
- Sign up for an account using the personal email address that you used to apply to SUU. (As a newly admitted SUU student, your email address will already be on the pre-approved list, so you’ll need to use that email to set up an account).
- Check that email for a verification message and follow the instructions to finalize the verification.
- Once verified, set up your profile and join in on group discussions and start making connections today!
Pro-Tip!
When setting up your account be sure to include as many interests as possible! The more interests you include the greater the chances of finding connections on campus will be.
