Apply for Governor's Honors Academy

GHA summer of 2024 is now closed.

All personal information will be removed prior to the selection process. The selection committee will use a blind process where the reviewers sees names or personal information when reviewing selection material.

Participant Qualifications

1. Must attend high school in the State of Utah.
2. Must be a United States citizen.
3. Must be a current high school student, graduating summer of 2025.
4. Must have a cumulative GPA [grades 9-11] of a 3.75 or higher

GHA Summer 2025 applications open January 5, 2024.

Additional Information

Once the application is received participants will be notified via participant email if they are missing any application requirements. They will also be notified once their application is completed.

Application materials for Steps 2, 3, and 4 can be mailed to: Governor's Honors Academy, 351 West University Blvd., Cedar City, Utah 84720 or emailed to: gha@suu.edu.

Once students are selected you will receive one of the three letters in the mail. Acceptance, alternate, or Denial.
