Faculty & Staff Advances

Full Time, Benefits Eligible, SUU employees who have completed their 6-month probationary period qualify to borrow $1,000 from Southern Utah University as a Faculty and Staff Advance. The terms of the advance include a $44 advance service fee, and the $1,044 must be paid back through payroll deduction within 1 year of disbursement (24 pay periods). Should the employee leave the employ of Southern Utah University, for any reason, the remaining balance will be deducted from the final paycheck. The advance may be repaid at any time through requested payroll deduction or at the Cashier’s Office at any time with no penalty.
