The Sherratt Library offers a variety of services for scholars of all kinds. This includes faculty, staff, and students. Services range from help with research to finding a venue for sharing your work.

Research Help

Every academic department on campus has a Library Liaison. These librarians are available to help with subject-specific research. Finding a Place to Share Your Work

Finding a place to share your work can be challenging. Especially if you are new to scholarship. Whether it is a conference, academic journal, or other venue, Scholarly Communication Librarian, Chris Younkin, is here to help. Copyright Considerations

With any scholarly or creative endeavor, copyright is an importan factor to consider. Copyright is a part of collaborating with other, publishing in journals, creating presentations, and other scholarly activities. Southern Utah University Press

The Southern Utah University Press, founded in 1985 as a department of the Sherratt Library, is a non-profit publisher of books, scholarly journals, and publications of other types in print and/or digital formats. The Press publishes works in all genres and subject areas, but especially works of local and regional interest. This includes, but is not limited to, histories of the peoples and development of southern Utah, the history and development of Southern Utah University, Shakespeare studies, and creative works of local and regional authors. The Southern Utah University Institutional Repository (SUU IR) is a public digital archive of the scholarly and creative work of our faculty.
