Dr. Adam Lambert and the Southern Utah University Wind Symphony take the stage once more before the end of the school year. This Friday, April 15, 2016, at 7:30 p.m., enjoy the music of these talented students. Tickets are $10 for adults, $8 for alumni with card, and $5 for youth. SUU faculty, staff, and students can get in free with a valid ID card.
Last week, the SUU Wind Symphony took their music to Northern Utah. Performing with Highland High School and Viewmont High School, they were able to share their talent and passion for music with students from schools in Salt Lake and Davis counties. Now hear them perform for their Southern Utah community with songs such as, “Ecstatic Fanfare” by Steven Bryant and “Aspen Jubilee” by Ron Nelson.
The SUU Wind Symphony is an auditioned ensemble made up of wind and percussion students at SUU. The ensemble is committed to the performance of the highest quality contemporary and traditional works in the wind band repertoire. This group is open to students of any major by audition.
