Each ceramic piece is microwave and dishwasher safe, making these student creations both practical and beautiful works of art. With prices ranging from $10 to $25, there are affordable options for everyone.

All sales events hosted by the SUU Ceramic Guild fund educational opportunities for its members and allow visiting artists to come to SUU to teach new techniques. The Valentine’s Day sale will help send ten students to the annual National Council on Education for the Ceramic Arts (NCECA) conference. This year’s conference will be held in Portland, Oregon on March 22 to 25. The NCECA conference provides the students with enriching educational experiences and networking opportunities with graduate schools and other artists from around the country. A panel of jurors is also available to critique the students’ portfolios, allowing them to receive additional feedback on their works. Multiple art gallery visits are also included in their conference trip.
