Parking for Campus Visitors
Visitors to campus have two options to park:
- Park in any green lot, where permits are not required.
- Obtain a free short-term visitor parking permit by requesting one as described below. SUU faculty and staff may also prearrange visitor parking permits.
Additionally, visitors may park in any lot (except housing lots) between the hours of 4:00 pm and 7:00 am, Monday through Friday, and at all times Saturday and Sunday unless otherwise noted. No overnight parking is permitted during the school year. Check for signs at parking lot entrances for restrictions.
Parking permits are not required during the summer months.
Visitor Permit Request by Individual
If you are an individual coming to campus, you can request a permit by completing an online request form. The permit will be emailed to you to print. You may also opt to pick up your permit in the Parking Services office.
Please place the permit in a visible place on the dash.

Visitor Permit Request by Faculty/Staff
If your department is going to have visitors on campus who cannot be accommodated with "green" open parking, you can prearrange a visitor parking permit by completing the online request form. Once your request has been received, you will be sent a permit via email that you can print or forward to your visitors to print.
It is your responsibility to communicate to your visitors that the permit is permissible in any lot except housing lots.
