STEM Ambassadors

Each year, our team of paid STEM Ambassadors help organize and oversee STEM Center events and programs for K-12 students in southern Utah. These events and programs are designed to promote fun, exploration, education, and expression in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) and help recruit students to SUU STEM programs and majors. Serving as a STEM Ambassador provides many opportunities for growth for SUU students in areas like leadership, oral and written communication, event planning, marketing, teaching, and technical skills. You do not have to be a science or engineering student to be part of this leadership organization; in fact, we are looking for a diverse group of students for a variety of jobs including marketing, graphic design, education, and management. The STEM Ambassadors are a close-knit, student-led organization that works closely with the SUU STEM Center staff and organizations across campus and throughout southern Utah.
