CSIS Interactive is geared toward high school sophomores, juniors, and seniors, though freshmen are admitted will a teacher recommendation. This event is limited to 50 students. If the Tuesday, May 8 event fills, a second session will be held on Thursday, May 10.
Two workshops will be presented at this school-day event: PEN testing (Cyber Security) and Programming. These workshops, presented by SUU Department of Computer Science & Information Systems professors, are a mixture of introductory and upper division material presented in a lecture and hands-on activity format.
This event is sponsored by CSIS and the SUU Center for STEM Teaching and Learning. Thanks to their generous support, workshop fees and lunch will be provided at no charge to students and their teachers. In addition, bus/vehicle expense reimbursement may be available.
