Trip Highlights

SANTA FE INDIAN MARKET
Widely considered the world’s greatest art fair, the “Market” is the largest cultural event in the Southwest. The event features thousands of artists vetted by leaders in the field, showcasing work ranging from jewelry and pottery to sculptures, textiles, and photography. Live music, dancing, and artist meet-and-greets make this fair the must-see event for all lovers of the arts.

GEORGIA O’KEEFFE MUSEUM & HOUSE
The galleries at the Georgia O’Keeffe Museum are intentionally curated to create an intimate experience for visitors. View paintings, drawings, pastels, and watercolors created by one of the most significant artists of the 20th century. O’Keeffe’s Home & Studio, located in Abiquiú, showcases both Native American and Spanish Colonial architecture styles and gives context to O’Keeffe’s body of work.

ALLAN HOUSER SCULPTURE GARDEN
This Sculpture Garden is home to more than 70 monumental works, surrounded by the juniper, chamisa, and incredible views. The outdoor garden was designed by Houser himself and is accompanied by an indoor gallery featuring small sculptures, paintings, and drawings.

BILLY SCHENCK STUDIO VISIT
Billy Schenck, whose work was shown alongside Andy Warhol’s in SUMA’s 2022 exhibition Billy Schenck: Myth of the West, graciously welcomes us into his studio and home for a unique and intimate look at the life of an artist. Schenck’s paintings are characterized by hot colors, surreal juxtapositions and patterning which explore clashes between wilderness and civilization, the individual and community, nature and culture, freedom and restriction.

FINE DINING
Dining in Santa Fe is an experience in and of itself. Santa Fe is proud to carry on the culinary traditions of cultures settled in the area long ago, and is the perfect destination for foodies. One meal per day is provided with trip registration.
