Additional Information about the Workshop

UCUR Student WorkshopThe Intermountain Digital Educational Research Consortium (IDERC) is a group of faculty and staff at the University of Utah, Southern Utah University, Utah State University, Utah Valley University, and Weber State University who share a commitment to fostering a culture of responsible and ethical conduct of research (RECR) and high-quality research mentoring. In 2023 the IDERC received a grant from the National Science Foundation with the goal to develop education materials that will support colleges and universities in Utah address needs for RECR and research mentorship.

In achieving this goal, the IDERC is organizing a workshop in conjunction with the 2025 Utah Conference for Undergraduate Research. This workshop will use the World Café methods. For this World Café, we will work with UCUR to invite undergraduate students and faculty to participate in discussion about what they know about RECR components and to identify needs in this area. Student participants will receive a $100 gift card for participation.
