Education Programs made possible by the Friends of the Gallery
The Braithwaite Fine Arts Gallery’s education programming develops and implements engaging and high-quality educational experiences for visitors to the Gallery including families, school groups and the visiting public.
This fall, students will experience Jim Jones: The San Blas Years. It was 1961 when Jones first journeyed to San Blas, Mexico, where he focused primarily on the study of the portrait and figure. The work you see in the Braithwaite Fine Arts Gallery is representative of the work he completed during the 14 winters he spent in Mexico. Classes will come to the gallery and participate in activities and a guided tour by our student docents.
