Southern Utah Museum of Art

Volunteer Program

Beyond the professional staff and arts administration graduate students and museum studies undergraduate students, a vital component of the Southern Utah Museum of Art (SUMA) will be its corps of volunteers. These volunteers will serve in a variety of capacities including docents, cataloguers, frame restorers, gift shop staffers and general volunteers. These remarkable individuals will ensure that SUMA fulfills its potential as a cultural destination in southern Utah.

Roland Gow, SUMA Volunteer Coordinator, is pleased to announce a call for volunteers to fulfill the Museum’s needs. If you are an individual who is able to commit to an average of four hours per week for one year, please consider volunteering your time. There will be proper training sessions for all areas of SUMA prior to the opening in summer 2016. Training is expected to commence in early 2016. If you are interested, please contact or 435-865-5825.
