Jeremy Bradshaw has recently been named the chief executive officer at Desert Springs Hospital Medical Center, in Las Vegas, Nevada. The path that led him to hospital administration didn’t begin there, at first he wanted to be a doctor but he didn’t like what he was studying.
“I met with a counselor and they mentioned hospital administration and I became so excited about the change,” recalled Bradshaw. “This allowed me to stay in healthcare but with a focus on my skill set.”
After he graduated with a degree in business management and swiftly moved to Minnesota to obtain a degree in healthcare administration. His first career was the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minn. From there he has worked at several places, working his way up to get to this point in his career.
“While I have worked hard to get to where I am now, I would not be in this position without great people along the way who have helped me prepare for this role. And again, that includes my time at SUU,” said Bradshaw.
He went on to say, “SUU laid the foundation for my career. I loved going to SUU and could not have picked a better university to get an education and prepare me for the future. I believe any university or organization is only as good as it’s people. And SUU has great people!”
