Dean's Message

The Dixie L. Leavitt School of Business is thrilled to introduce our new dean, Kenneth Hall. Ken assumed his official duties as dean in the spring of 2024 after having served as interim dean since August of 2023.

Ken has been teaching and leading at the Leavitt School of Business for nearly seven years, both as a lecturer, director of the MBA, and associate dean of the business school. Ken’s professional career has taken him through multiple top executive positions at companies such as Exxon, Booz Allen Hamilton, and Bain & Company. Ken also spent a number of years in senior leadership positions at PetSmart. Now, Ken loves teaching and working as a professor here at the business school and is dedicated to helping students achieve their goals in the classroom and attain success after graduation.

As the new dean, Ken is very excited about the future of the Leavitt School of Business, from the construction of a new business building in the fall, to the continuation of the positive culture between professors and students. Ken is committed to strengthening and supporting the students and faculty at the business school.

Ken’s door is always open to students. Stop in to chat with your new dean!
