Requesting Articles Through Interlibrary Loan

Placing article requests
After you've checked your item's availability at SUU, log in to ILLiad. To begin your article request, click on "Article" under the New Requests dropdown in the toolbar at the top of the page in ILLiad.
Next, fill out the request form with information about the item you want. Please be as detailed as possible in your request! This helps Library staff find your item.
Articles are sent electronically as PDFs, They typically arrive within 1-3 days. You will receive an email alert that the chapter is available in ILLiad for you to download.
Where's my journal article?
If you requested an ILL article and want to access it, follow the steps below.
Step 1: To access them, login to ILLiad and click the Electronically Received Articles link to view or download the article.
Step 2: If your article has arrived, you will see the categories (Transaction, View, Size, etc.) filled in with your article's information, including a link to download the article. Download the article PDF file to view it.
Step 3: We recommend saving the article PDF to your computer's hard drive or a flash drive. After 30 days, it will disappear from your account.
