Club Registration
Students looking to start a new club at SUU need to follow a few simple steps to register. Once a club has been started, re-registration is required to keep it going as student leaders change.
How to Start a Club
Starting a club is super simple. All you need is the following information:
- An idea
- A president
- A club constitution ( Template)
It may take up to 48 hours for us to review your club, and we may reach out for additional information.
If you have any questions about starting a club, please contact the Vice president of Involvement and Clubs at suusa_clubsvp@suu.edu, or visit us in the Student Center ST 177.
Re-Registration
Re-Registration is done by having the former president go to T-Bird Connection and clicking on the Organizations tab then the Register a New Organizations tab. From there you should be able to see the re-register an existing organization. It is your job as the Club President to fill out this form with the New Club President and to make sure they are adequately made aware of how things are done with your club.
What you need to do
- You will need to edit the roster so that only current and returning members are kept on the roster and remove the rest (T-Bird Connection)
- You will need to make sure that the new club officers are given their positions on Tbird Connection so that they can adequately perform their duties.
- Change the primary contact to the New President
- Edit the Club Constitution so that it reflects any new changes the club members wish to implement for the new year
*Failure to do the above may result in freezing your club and losing out on Club benefits for the upcoming year
